Anybody bet horses regularly and actually track what they are doing here?

And I don't mean the Cosbyorino integrity style tracking, I mean actually tracking wins and losses and profits and losses.

Anyone dividing their performance by track, odds, horse or jockey? Anyone breaking it down?

All Pennsylvania tracks were told they could not open, even for spectator-less racing until the county they reside in goes 'green' meaning the last phase of reopening. They are likely 3-4 months away at minimum.

    Why do you say this?

Is there a PA timeline of phases? Any info you have is helpful here. In the absence of any, it seems like when the dominoes of reopening start falling, things move quick.

Vegas is an example, with little movment turing into a hustle to get ready.

I'd like know about PA if you have info.

Pa has soft opening dates starting west to east with Pid

but the gov has took the slot money for the state ,

instead of allowing the track to put it back into the racing

    which started all this anyway

my guess is the pa derby and such will be gone soon

and pa might lose horse racing as a whole in a few years

if your really interested in this

I understand this now. I see what PA is trying to rollout. Turmp pushing them...lol.

Seems like ther might be some sort of regional rollout too, with North coming first. That could be old news.

If so maybe, the west will roll out sooner. But the northwest is my focus. Been running programs over Presque Isle Downs for sometime (based on experience with Golden Gate since 2008.)

I like the Tapeta sythetic track, it's not everywhere but data with is workable. As it grows, I think it could lead decent odds as bettors get tripped up. Of course there's more to capping, but always looking for the newest Tapeta as I've come to understand differences and not everyone adapts to them equally...yet....lol.

CDI (Churchill downs) switching to the same sythetic at Turfway this year. Turfway gonna grow and because of the swith we're gonna cash over the vig, but that's another topic I don't think the Kung Flu has had any effect on that timeline yet.

Putting this shit in over a decade, still in few places. Golden Gate taught me a few things and I think we can expoit it at the Trufway open...or not...lol.

Anway, Near Erie, in the northwest is the a mile long one at presque isle.

But I get it, nothing opening, fans in the stands or not, anytime real soon.

I want to mention that the capping adjustment behind the Tapeta sythetic track has to do with where they were racing previously (type of track synthetic or not, etc.) before racing on the Tapeta surface. It seems to still hold some water but I hate the horce vig, always an uphill bitch, even if it si just short term bettting.

There were a lot of closures though.

Santa Anita up and running as I type this.

Would really like to Northwast PA run some kind of season here. It's key to prepping for the Turfway season to follow in Kentucky. Turfway closed down but it didn't really shorten the season. I think they lost around 3 races.

Hopefully the Kung Flu doesn't halt track renovations and/or delay the early winter opening.

Wrd average handle is over 3 million for the meet with a one day record of over 5 million..
If you saw this track you would be scratching your head saying "WTF?"
It's nothing more than a revamped training track.. Lol
So yeah, a lot of new customers and lack of product, these tracks still operating are making beaucoup deloras...
