Now they've banned CAR PARADES in Silicon Valley
You know the car parades that the news has been eating up where a kid beats cancer so they the town drives by with signs to celebrate, or for kids bdays, or for teachers they've missed. Well Santa Clara County (In SF Bay area, a majore silicon valley county) has said they are banned. Not allowed to do them. What are they going to prevent us from doing next????

They didn't say on the news what the definition of it is but even the news anchor was shocked.
it crazy in my book, let just hope the smart geeks that started it will have it overturn by common sense people.

Had 2 near me so far. One passing in front of my house with teachers waving to the local schoolkids along the route which included someone in a Mickey Mouse costume riding in a convertible. Other one was a couple blocks away which a neighbor told me was for the high school seniors graduating.
Makes me very curious how they're going to route the 4th of July parade since it's usually along a stretch of one of the main roads by me. I'm wondering if they may lengthen it more throughout the neighborhood to avoid one large crowd lined up on one stretch of road and just have smaller groups spread out a longer route (if they don't outright cancel it).

Yup heard that today. Crazy. I live in that county. Talked to my boss, she said she's going to do one on Monday anyway for her kids lol
