    Seems like a great insurance policy for Philly...Wentz is very injury prone so I don't mind the pick and they will probably put in a short yardage/goal line/read option package for Hurts.

    If Hurts is used like Tayson Hill this won’t ever be an impact pick. It’s a lose lose situation for the Eagles. If Hurts is Tayson Hill then that means he’s touching the ball less than 5 times a game. If he is the starter because Wentz is hurt then Philly is going to lose anyway. Hurts showed in this year’s semifinals that he can’t go toe to toe with an explosive offense or great defense. Bad news either way. Probably would have been a better replacement for an aging Big Ben versus an oft injured Carson Wentz.
