Ridiculous; If legal, Trump should issue an order requiring states to allow businesses to remain open as long as they reduce capacity, require distance, etc. One or two grand isn't going to get people out of the hole.

Wouldn't it be nice if everyone who don't need it could be weeded out and those who do deserve help, get more. That would be progess. I feel handing out money to everyone is just a vote grab. I'm not economic or political expert, though.

There is no such thing as money. There is only power. They should just send everybody $25,000 and say they will check back in 6 months. The last bailout was $200,000 per person. $25,000 is dirt cheap.
