#9If the O-line doesn`t give Grampa Tommy time, NOTHING else matters. Not the "talent". Not the weather.
If they somehow do give him good time, TB12 with those receivers will score a ton of points.
Stay away from people. Go outside if you can, get some fresh air. Walk the dog.Comment -

#10He won't be running - solid OL, downfield targets galore
Bruce Arians and Tom Moore drawing up the plays
Tom Moore was the Colts OC in Manning's heyday
everyone wants to be traded to the Bucs now
Brady is a lock for most passing yards in 2020.
Yes, more than Mahomes.
Superbowl in Tampa - if they win it would be first ever SB home team
Remember it was the adjustment from New England weather to Florida
that hit the hardest - not already being there and acclimated to it
Plus Miami had a slow sloggy grass that was bad for receivers.Last edited by Snowball; 03-21-20, 11:35 AM.Comment -

#17Such a tough task for him to get a team chemistry in place to win a SB there. Maybe just a money grab and can't blame him for that. He's earned the choice to do what he wants. Wish him well. Denver had a really good defense for peyton and a really good receiving corps. I also believe peyton had a better football iq. Not gonna debate that, though. We'll see in 2021...☠Comment -

Open your eyes.
Tom just joined a team with 2 of the best wide receivers in the NFL. Antonio Brown might also be joining that group. The Buccaneers signed Brady to a 2 year deal. This is not a rebuilding project. They just went ahead and signed another offensive linemen to protect Brady yesterday. I think they will also add another tackle.
Here is the thing the Buccaneers will be very talented however they WILL have their work cut out for them as the league is becoming more and more balanced. I think there will be 8-10 teams capable of winning the NFC championship by the time these rosters are done being constructed.
I’m calling it right now the Carolina Panthers win that division and they are an absolute steal at 14-1.Comment -

#19I agree with poster about O-line.....this guys legacy is largely due to the fact he has been (remarkably) rarely pressured/sacked in his entire career. Thats why still so effective in 40's. Because he has the wear and tear of someone 10 years younger. Coupled with immense stupidity by opposing coaches in critical situations to boost his superbowl win total. If the O-line is good, he will shine. If not...he won't do shit, just like most QB's in the league.Comment -

#22I'm sure Brady will get acclimated to the weather, it doesn't get real hot there in December, perhaps earlier. Having good receivers and offensive mind like Arians will more than make up for playing in the heat.Comment -

#25Brady always struggled in Florida. His loss to Miami in NE in Week 17 was the death knell of his career, the Titans just buried the coffin. Tampa misses the playoffs or maybe just sneaks in as the first ever NFC 7th seed on the backs of its all-star receivers. Patriots sans Brady rebound to win AFC with a legit QB at 13-3Comment -

#30Tampa Bay Weather:
Weather in September
The daily temperatures drop below 86°F (30°C), and the rain also subsides a little. The combination of humidity at a high level of 77.6% and the sea temperature at an average of 84°F (28.9°C) do not make it a comfortable atmosphere. Weather in September »

The temperatures range from mild nights at 68.3°F (20.2°C) to comfortably warm days at 84°F (28.9°C). With an average of 6.5 days of rainfall during the month, it is officially the end of the wet season. Weather in October »
Weather in November
November is the second least rainy month at 1.8" (45.7mm) and brings pleasant weather. The daily high temperature in the range of 76°F (24.4°C) to 80°F (26.7°C) and reduced intensity of the sun rays make for some fine weather. Weather in November »
Weather in December
December is the start of the winter, with the average low temperatures dropping to a mild 54.2°F (12.3°C). The days are at a comfortable 72°F (22.2°C) during which sunburns are not a significant. Weather in December »Comment -

#34Brady and his record at Miami....
Usually Miami was way out of the playoffs and the patriots had nothing to play for not exactly a motivational recipe to win a game late in the season hence his under .500 recordComment -
