From Forbes:

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin on Thursday said that the proposal would involve cutting two checks with the first check sent out three weeks after a relief bill is passed.

Under the GOP bill released Thursday afternoon, American adults would receive $1200 each, and $500 per child.

The latest news on getting the Gov free money -

You will get a check in the mail if you filed for your taxes in the last year and it will come in the mail maybe as soon as 2 weeks.. If you didn't file for taxes you will get nothing.. Hood rats that never file you are out of luck..

Gotta make under 75K a year to get a $1000 or more..

Also we don't have to FILE our taxes until July now.. 3 month extension.. Not to pay but to file also.. That's what Congress came up with.. Bill to sign this week on Trumps desk. Trump will sign..

Just bringing everyone up to date.. This is what I'm reading and seeing on the news as of today!!! You will not have to wait in line or go anywhere to get your check.. It will come in the mail like a tax return check.
