XFL Broadcasts Need To Embrace Gambling Even More

They have done a good job putting it in the broadcast here and there, but I think they need to go full out with it. They need to bring the broadcasts to a point where they are unique compared to the other products out there.

I would love it if they provided a ticker with updates on live betting all through the game, along with updates on how prop betting is going. Also, they should train their broadcasters to throw betting stats into their dialogue even more than they do now. I think the public would be more interested in a stats driven broadcast than the traditional breaking down of plays for players that haven't made the big leagues. Make it a gambling show within a football game. That would definitely set it apart from other leagues, and improve their chances of survival.

i still need to know more players before i can give my interest.tried and did not appeal to me.

i do agree that the gambling embrace sounds good. Wish NFL did it too.

There would have been upside if they had gotten the players and the refs back on the field. If Seattle had gotten the TD and 3 point conversion, that would have been big. What then would have been bigger is that would could have seen the XFL's unique overtime in play for the first time. This could have potentially brought much more publicity to the league other than highlighting an incompetent senior official like they have had to here.

Coaches need to go away from more traditional play calling, and embrace some of the rules like 2 forward passes on the same play behing the line of scrimmage. This would open the game up more, and we would have less 15-6 games like today.

Actually i have to say I like the clock rules much better. The games actually flow better than the nfl. It seems the coaches are half retarded when it comes to going for 1 2 or 3 though.
