Sorry, I'm sure I left a few out.

These sites cater(ed) to illegal offshore wagering. These places originally were used as information and watchdog venues which served a purpose to keep gambling operations somewhat accountable.

Does social media serve that purpose now? Is that all we need?

Pete, I think a forum and social Media are Pretty much two different things

Not nearly as much head 2 head in-depth convo via social media and you don't get to know individuals as well

I think young people have over looked forums.

We'll be a popular niche for a long time yet though I think.

Social media blows. SBR is a gem that will only gain more relevance as state legalization grinds it way across the U.S..The only question is does SBR have the wherewithal to remain the leader in a burgeoning market? Keep taking good care of your members and we will take the journey with you.

Holy shit its been a long time. Forgot all about bettorsworld. SBR heads and shoulders above the rest. No fukin clutter with tout sales pitches ala covers. Cappersmall still goin too. Only way to keep books/clients in check is to have 3rd party mediation a long with deposited funds in 3rd party escrow. Mediation needs to happen within 7 days also not 7 months.

Social Media mainly one way conversations and user blocks anyone with a different opinion

Its ok for news and some info

Is there a market for something like these sites mentioned representing a legal market in a capacity new and better than anything we've seen. Do illegal sites maintain their status in a new legal market.

This aint about the biggest penis. What is the future for this kind of portal or does social media offer a satisfactory watchdog platform.

Bet2gamble was a top forum and one of the pioneers. I long for those days when the quality of posters was excellent - you could learn something from just about everyone on that forum.
