Used to be a huge problem.

Not sure what they have done but I don't hear rumors about it anymore. Not in years.

Books pay too much for the data for them to not police it well. Just data on how many late bets come in per operator could weed out most of it at a guess.

years ago i was with a local and p2p site and they had live betting, only problem for them was they were just a little slow taking down the odds maybe 2 or 3 secs, i used to multi tab with bet365 live betting streaming and my sportsbook live betting, i would follow the games and whenever a dangerous attack happened i would get the bet ready for team to score next goal and just wait, and in the past when bet365 put the odds down it was going to be a goal , so i would time it just right and submit the bet when the odds got taken down and get the bet in just before my slow sportsbook took odds down , sadly it only lasted a few weeks and i had to lose some to make it not too obvious but that was a great feeling knowing had an advantage on the books
