watched quite a bit of film of these two all morning and snuck a bet on uk they were losing all game pretty much till the end

Mfers had lead almost whole fukkin game but kept settling for Fgs. Then up 6 with chance to put them away that fukkin wr stopped running on slant route that was wide open for the 1sf down and prob a lot more. Kid straight up stopped running and ball out in front of him where he should have been.

That bogus pass interference hurt on a Hokies int. Next play uk gets a 60 yard td run. Still was on Vatech. Had many chances to push the lead to 10 or more but couldn’t punch it in.

He was averaging 8.2 per carry going into the game they slowed him down more than SEC defenses.

The best athlete in the country, but everyone thought Bud Foster would have the magic cure for stopping him. Can bitch about the PI call where the receiver got dragged down on an under thrown ball, and we can bitch about the fumble that stood because there wasn’t a damn camera to be found on one sideline. Bowden wasn’t stopped by anyone all year. He would have smashed records if he played QB from game one.

Yeah Bowden tough no doubt. Should be a good Pro. Was on Tech and frustrated with the D against him. Make him throw the rock, I guess easier said than done.

So hard to stop when you have to account for the RB, and end around at times as well. He’s also great at delaying and waiting for his blocks to develop. Runs all the over the place like a punt returner. Always looking for that cut across field to open space. I think he tried to throw too much, and it almost screwed them. Hit the one that counted though.

Yeah valid points. But I still think Tech could have done some different things to at least stop Bowden. But then again you have to account for the other runners. No doubt.

Questionable "catch" on that 4th down play - Should have at least taken a look at it. Then Bowden fumbles later in the drive but the refs said they blew the whistle. Tough loss for us VT backers...

everybody knows bowden is gonna run more overwhelmingly though he had 34 carries the other 4 runners combined only had 21 carries its not just knowing he's gonna run its dealing with that massive uk offensive line. two 6-6 guys one 6-7 one 6-5 all well over 300 lbs
