When Hawai stepped up in competition against Boise and Washington they couldn't stop the run or get pressure on the QB because they struggled up front. BYU is a big physical team and they should be able to run and keep Hawaii's offense out of rhythm, Hawaii's offense is strong, but BYU should be able to control the running game in the red zone and on short yardage, and they should be able to get pressure against Hawaii's offensive line.
