Half hour to kick off I have to keep this brief.
Both teams have strong defenses this is true, Wisconsin only gives up 14 points per game, Gopher about 21.
However both teams can score in bunches, about 35 points per games each.
Both teams have contrasting styles on offense Minnesota is very effective in air, has a pair of top two receivers and while QB Morgan isn't elite he on the next level down from elite.
As good as the Badgers are on defense the Gophers have plenty of passing plays to keep Wisconsin's defense on their heels.
On the other hand Wisconsin's offense is very rush heavy.
They have one of the top three runners in the country in Jonathan Taylor (if not the best RB in the country) who can score TD's faster than most QB's can throw them.
Wisconsin is not a one trick pony on offense either, Coan is an extremely smart in game manager with a high football IQ who doesn't make many mistakes and he throws to his talented WR Cephus is he needs to.
Both teams will not get their customary 35 points here but both team should get at least 24 points each.
45 is to low in my opinion, I think this games goes to 51 total points.
OVER 45 for your pal Naser please.
As you are probably aware by now I am 11-1 in my last 12 selections (all verifiable) so tail at your own risk as I am smart enough to know all good things must come to an end but until them I'll keep breaking down the games.
