    ESPN PLUS ($ MATERIAL)

The 2019 NFL season is in full swing, and we're here with a betting preview for Thursday's game between the 1-1 Tennessee Titans and the 0-2 Jacksonville Jaguars.

ESPN betting analysts Preston Johnson and Joe Fortenbaugh, and Fantasy's Mike Clay, combine to offer their best bets for the matchup of AFC South rivals.

Note: Odds courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook. Odds as of Sept 18.
Tennessee Titans (-2, 39) at Jacksonville Jaguars

Jaguars team total under 19.0 points

Fortenbaugh: What do you get when you throw backup quarterback Gardner Minshew II and a Jacksonville offense that ranks dead last in the NFL in pace (31.4 seconds per play) up against a Tennessee defense that has surrendered only 32 total points through two games?

The answer is a Jaguars team that scores fewer than 19 points on Thursday night, and that's before we even consider the fact that the Titans rank just 21st in pace (29.5 seconds per play) and ninth in yards per play allowed (5.0). This game is going to be a tough watch, which is yet another reason why sports betting should be legalized nationwide.
Chris Conley over 37.5 receiving yards

Clay: Conley's line comes in a bit low for a player who has emerged as a consistent target for Minshew on the perimeter. Conley has turned 12 targets into 170 yards over his first two games in Jacksonville, posting a 13.8 average depth of target along the way. Conley has been heavily involved, running a route on 62 of Jacksonville's 71 pass plays. Primary coverage will come via Malcolm Butler, who has been targeted on a hefty 21% of his coverage snaps this season. Expect Conley to come in closer to 47 receiving yards on Thursday.

DJ Chark over 42.5 receiving yards

Clay: Same as Conley, Chark has settled in as a full-time player on the perimeter. Chark has run a route on 58 of the team's 71 pass plays, including 32 of 37 in Week 2. Chark has cleared 54 receiving yards in both games this season and has a total of 201 yards on 13 targets (13.9 aDOT). Tennessee allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to wide receivers last season and employs the same secondary this season. Chark figures to land closer to 49 receiving yards against the Titans.

Corey Davis under 40.5 receiving yards

Clay: Davis has struggled out of the gate this season, which his hardly a surprise following an underwhelming first two seasons in the league. Davis has managed only three receptions for 38 yards on eight targets in two games this season. As if that's not bad enough, he'll run a majority of his routes against star corners Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye on Thursday night. After totaling four yards on five targets in two games against the Jaguars as a rookie, Davis was held to 21 yards on three targets and 34 yards on four targets in his two showdowns with Jacksonville last season. His struggles against the Jaguars aren't particularly surprising considering they allowed the fewest receiving yards to wide receivers in 2017 and the fourth fewest last season.

I took that Conley prop at over 42, I hate seeing him going into the tent now
