    Twins turn another triple play

Twins just turned yet another 5-4-3 around the horn trifecta.
They did earlier this season on 7/23.

    That infield is solid gold.

    Yeah, I hear 'ya.
Every infielder (except SS) has to be perfect.
The 3B needs to pick it, step on third, make a perfect peg to the 2B, who has to field it cleanly, transfer the ball from the glove in a nano-second, then throw a strike to the 1B who has to stretch towards the 2B and also field it closely.

Even if done perfectly still takes a fat, slow, or lazy Mfer running out the box to get it done most the time.

Yeah, Lo-Cain, or Billy Hamilton, or Trout, or Bradley Zimmer, or any speed merchant breaking out of the box from the left side usually beats the rap.
Guys like Hamilton cover 30 feet a second, so you got to turn that triple in 3 seconds or less, you can take your time with a Tucker Barnhart.

I was thinking yadi far as just slow as a freaking snail. Or any of 30-50 lazy Mfers that just don’t hustle out the box.

Who was it they turned it on today?

Tyler Flowers (enough said) at least he hustles but as slow as sin nevertheless.

What's insane is Martin Perez was the pitcher again, and Sano at third started the triple play again, and Schoop was involved again as well.
What's also insane is the pitching coach came out right before Flowers came up and said to Perez, "I'm not sure about a triple play, but let's get two"

Flowers slashed a cutter right to Sano, it was tailor made.
p.s. the last pitcher on the mound for two triple plays in a season was Zach Davies.
