Indiana Sportsbooks say they have a target date to begin around September 1st for the first week of the regular season NFL (Rumor is it won't open until a later date due to unforeseen startup problems, etc.) so I decided to check out the Tunica sportsbooks to get in my week 1 college football wager in as well as future NFL and NCAAF season wins bets. About an equal drive distance for me to go to West Virginia (Mountaineer) or Tunica and I chose Tunica this time because of multiple sportsbooks plus very little road construction.
Stayed at the Hollywood casino during the week for only $49.99 per night which included the nightly resort fee of $10.00. Very reasonable, nice room and very good buffet. Went to the other casinos as well. Spread out over the area but a easy drive to each. By the way the Goldstrike looks like the place to watch the games in that area. They were under construction but I walked in and the seating area and screens to watch the games were impressive especially compared to the much smaller Hollywood, Fitzgerald, Horseshoe, and Sam's Town casinos.
Can't wait for Indiana to get going. Went to the table, laid down my money, got my ticket (got -110 odds on NCAAF game). Didn't have to go to coinbase (who gives your info to IRS) to buy bitcoin with massive price volatility to send to a wallet site to send to the sportsbook which takes hours to complete.
Offshores in trouble boys with the squares like me who the offshores really want at their sites when these states come online and most offshores deserve it with all the bullshit and poor customer service. They will feel the hit for certain with the US player.
