The only reason Ohio St gets to the top so much is because there conference is so terrible, but they can at least hold their own against better teams unlike Mich and Penn St

michigan hype strikes me the same as Army-Navy OVER arguments. stuff that sounds good but never happens.... the hype is probably due to more seasoned shea patterson and his relationship with harbaugh.

as per franklin at PSU. last 3 years (just a random amount of time as i don't know how long he's been there)

3-6 vs ohs, mich, mcs. 1 win against each.
2-0 vs wisconsin
3-0 vs iowa.

so kind of a mixed record against good teams.

Because the conference is so weak you are labeling Wisconsin and Iowa as good teams
I understand why, but neither of those teams would go .500 in the SEC
Wisky, Iowa, Mich and Mich St have high school offenses and are incapable of throwing a competent forward pass

Like I said before, the only team in the BIG 10 that has and can compete at higher levels is Ohio St
The other teams may look good occasionally, but struggle against top level competition

I can't do it now, but if you can post Franklin's record against top 25 teams, and the same on the road

It is abysmal, as is Harbaugh's record against the top teams

The whole conference, other than Ohio St, is very weak

Teams like Minn, Neb, Rut, Ind, Ill, Mary and Purd are so hideous they make Northwestern look good

8-10 against ranked teams

Anybody remotely familiar with college football the last 5 yrs knows that there are 2 great teams and 1 or 2 very good teams every year
There is a huge drop off after that with below average teams going in and out of the top 25 each week
Harbaugh's only top 10 win is against another horrible Big Ten team that is always overrated, Wisky

Mich schedule is always a cakewalk which accounts for those wins

This is just pre-season hype. The Big 10 can not compare to the SEC or ACC. Michigan must travel to Penn State, a place that they do not win in. The possibility of them ending up with two losses is much greater than of them going undefeated. In the long run, they cannot defeat Alabama, Georgia, or Clemson, so it really does not matter.

Im a USC grad but also a UM fan. Every year same hype, same let-downs year after year.
USC gets by cupcake teams, then flops a coin flip game or loses outright to mediocre teams, finishes way outside top ten, if even ranked. This year no hype finally, as reflected by 7 win total odds.
Michigan always same; lose to notre dame and OSU (no matter where they play) and throw in a road loss or two; i see 8-4. They lost ton on defense and I didnt think their defense was good; just padded numbers playing mostly shitty offensive teams. Until they get to OSU which shredded their "elite" LMFAO defense. I am all over under 10, just a ridiculous line. I see BEST CASE I mean highest of high would be 10-2, a push. My prediction is 9-3 or 8-4. Id have to see them go 11-1 or better to lose, not going to happen.
USC schedule also pretty brutal, 6-6 or 5-7. Best case 7-5. 8-4 would be huge stretch to lose the under. Heavy on UM under 10, small amount on USC under 7.
