In some ways yes, in other no. The ball movement and how they play without him is def better to watch and in some ways makes them tougher. He is the best player on the planet tho and prob nobody better closing big games. Their record when he doesn’t play is incredible, and I didn’t see them winning in Houston when he was playing!!!

I’m really not saying they better without him, just different and In some ways tougher to defend. I don’t think they need him to win the ship, damn sure don’t need him for Portland, maybe against Greek freak they could use him. I’d prob sit him this whole series.

Something special about Portland this year. Guys stepping up in big ways. I really wish they had Nurk still though. Warriors love back to an all time high after the way Steph curry & friends bounced back to close out Rockets in 6. This was probably the most exciting potential WCF matchup & we got it.

Portland has some underrated injuries to Hood and Aminu that with Nurkic out will be an issue, they aren't very deep right now and will be playing on 1 days rest.

You taking state game one? By the time game 7 ended(3pm PST) and when game 1 starts (6pm PST) that's 51 hours. Take the 3 hours travel bs away and it's 2 days off.

Game 7's are grueling, plus they played at altitude, and when get to a new city you have to find hotel, do everything, its not 2 days off, its 1 day between games. I"m on GS -8.

Not that I care, watch the game, Denver and Portland shot horribly in game 7, they had no energy, the game is much faster now, these guys are running miles and are already banged up, shooting percentages go down for a reason most of the time late in a series.

Just wanted to see who you are on. Aren't hotels booked by the team? I explained the 2 days off but can you explain how 48 hours is one day?

Anything can happen in 1 game but Portland was clearly tired in game 7 against Denver, they shot horribly from 3 point range and they shot horribly in general, 1 day off after a tough game 7 won't likely be enough. They're not going to practice or have much of a game plan in 24-48 hours when the players need to rest, GS is sitting at home waiting for them.

I think it has more to do with defense and teams seein each other so many times in a row. They get lots of off days in playoffs, I just don’t believe it tired legs. Defense, familiarity, pressure I think has more to do w shooting percentages dropping. I been wrong before tho, maybe you right.

Please they have days off in every playoff game now, not like the regular season with travel and back to backs.. Every team is rested in the playoffs now.. STOP IT!!! Blazers will be fresh..

I think the mental tiredness is real. Just like any job, the repetition of it day in and day out starts to catch up. We live in the day of social media where you can see what everybody is doing at every time. These guys gotta open up their phones everyday & see their fellow players on vacation in the tropics & shit. Meanwhile they are studying game film on an opponent’s defense tendencies. For the guys that find motivation in the grind it’s nothing. But for everybody else that shit can catch up jack and will start to effect you physically

Agree, there's reason Warriors couldn't hit a shot late in the game 7 of the NBA finals the year they lost
