Come on DOM, that's where the value investing takes place. Those openers move and sometimes you need to get down before it does. It's one reason the limits are lower. The books know they can be exposed here. Take advantage.

Not that I care but I like Ohio State at -1.5, the line is already up to 2 and look like it will keep climbing because its a very important game fort them since they are at risk for missing the tournament, its not an important game for Iowa, Ohio State is good defensively but their half court offense is inconsistent since they don't have a true point guard, they should be fine against Iowa since Iowa isn't that athletic or good defensively in the backcourt.
Indiana is playing well and Wisconsin is playing their second straight road game, Indiana's backcourt is much more athletic than Wisconsin, Indiana has the frontline in Ross and Morgan to contain Happ.Comment -
Not that I care, but if the lines go for & against you, how is that value? I would say information is value, and info such as injuries or gameplans are not as available that early or not as accurate that early. It’s like NFL, anyone betting Sunday games on Tuesdays are clowns. You wait til Sunday morning or at least Saturday night.Comment -
Agreed DOM, we often trade value for information and I feel it can be a good trade.
But some of us are ahead of the market there and when we are we need to take the value.

The biggest problem is being forced to pay -110, but at least it's not for as much money.
Also, different handicapping methods dictate when to pull the trigger.
Among my different Funds, I bet with both styles. Some early, some require more information.
This year, the early bets are doing better overall and I've already made well over 400 plays in total in Hoops so far this year.

Not that I care but this one of the dumbest takes I've heard in a while, there's no reason to think their will be any new injury news between now and when the games goes off, if you think you are on the sharp side then you don't want to wait.
You're argument about waiting for injury news in major sports is stupid too because everyone has the same information at the time the lines are available. This isn't small school college betting.
I guarantee you will have a higher winning percentage in any sport betting opening lines than closing lines long-term.Comment -
