couple posts I found from some years back about this guy

Official Roger Ayers had a bad week.
He was the referee involved with the 6 men on the floor issue at the Western Kentucky game earlier in the week.
He was on the officiating crew who worked the UK/UT game yesterday. He had a couple of shaky calls including a block/charge miss and Terence Jones' 4th foul on a loose ball scramble under the Kentucky basket.
But the worse call was the technical on Coach Cal from 50 feet across the floor. Unexceptable. Chicken crap for a referee to pull that one under the circumstances.
Roger Ayers might need a little "time off" to get his game together. I am surprised he didn't get a little vacation after the Western Kentucky fiasco.

Matt Jones said that Roger Ayers has t'd up John Calipari in three of the last four games that he has officiated.

Guy either has action on these games or is in to someone real deep where he has to do whatever he can to effect the game, first and second half spreads.

they need to make the refs wear a watch that is in sync with the buzzer and when it hits 0 it will vibrate notifying the ref the clock is at 0 that way the ref can look at the person shooting and not having to look at the clock at the same time,missing obvious easy calls

One of the officials on that list is a member at my old club and I’ve talked to several times. Each conference they work for conducts an extensive FBI Background Check. They can’t even gamble legally in a casino, play online poker, etc etc etc. A top tier official will work 70-80 games a season making, depending on the conference, 3-4K per game. This is before the tournament where they are paid more per round they advance. You do the math. Nothing to see here. Just 2 bad calls.

lol at the wishful thinkers thinking this score will be changed to appease some degens. Heritage immediately graded it a loss. Also, I had no skin in the oklahoma game that was this ref also made a controversial call in a day ago but I read about an article some guy on barstool who called the head of the big 12 ref association or whatever and he said that when a meaningless bucket goes in that doesn't impact the final score they do not review them ever. Don't get your hopes up guys. Onwards and up. 12 quick Founders IPA's and a 8th of some kush delivered have me feeling better. I'm over it. Gambling is a cruel mistress sometimes but this one might have seriously took the cake.

No lol more people should look into fixing.

Let’s just say he was working for a mob fixing games, they would rather have him make the right call here and kill their bet then to do something so obvious that it draws this much attention to himself. Simple stuff.

Fixing is not last second plays like the saints game, where you have to rely on 15 other factors and where the world is watching. This is just bad officiating, something that happens every day on every level.

every game Ive ever seen that a bucket was late to end the game it wasnt counted whether it mattered or not if that was the case we would have been making threads about it long before now.

in the nba mb. college bball refs don't care enough to review meaningless buckets that have no impact on the final score. They call it as they see it and head to locker room.

like I said Ive seen late shots before and just barely late they dont count them its nothing to review really. see how blatant tonight was? a kindergartener could have seen that shot was late. how come you cant remember this ever happening? I made the thread about the Iowa St. game I never saw a replay and was watching live and saw the scoreboard light up before the ball left his hand as close as that was I could easily see it. and the clock said 0.2 and I could still see he had the ball in his hand when the scoreboard lit up.
