Kaepernick represents the idea of cops purposely target black people, but only less than 1% of cops are that evil, there's no fool proof system on recruiting good cops.
Knight represents the idea that most cops will kill only in self defense regardless of what race and gender you are.

The anthem should be played. If you don't want to see it change the channel. This is what I have been doing the last 5 years. Then when the game starts I switch the channel. How hard is it to follow these simple directions?

Gladys Knight surely doesn't need to apologize for singing the Natonal Anthem.

I'm just glad whoever is responsible for inviting her didn't pick some country -- love my flag, guns and border wall -- singer...Adding that the greatest halftime show ever would be seeing Trump get tarred and feathered in front of millions of people.
