Archie I'm a fan of yours but when u consider Tom Brady was only 22 at the time and it was nearly 19 years ago this doesn't seem crazy or unreal for Mcvay to be a young teen at the time.

I think the astonishing part isn't that some random joe blow on a the street, (or message board) was young when Brady started....(because yeah, he's old)
its that the opposing COACH is that much younger, combined with the extreme rare longevity in an NFL player creates this weird disproportion in age that has pretty much never been seen in sports. The young NFL coach being a new phenomenon
Can anyone give me example where a star player or any player was younger than the opposing coach in a major professional sports pinnacle championship game/series?
