Nick Foles, what to do?

Let's say you have the final say on what to do with Nick Foles after the playoffs.

He's in the middle of a funky contract that pretty much says if Foles is on the Eagles roster in February of 2019 he can become a free agent. He has three years left on the contract, total worth of the contract is 5.5 million plus a 600 thousand dollar bonus.

It's common knowledge that Carson Wentz is the Eagles long term starting QB, as his skill set is better than Foles.
There's an NFL adage that says the most important position in football is the backup QB, which is what Foles would be for the next 3 years if Philadelphia keeps him.

5.5 million and the bonus is a ton of money to pay a backup, however the team seems to galvanize around him, they rally around him, witness last years Super Bowl run and this year he's 5 and 1 since taking over for the injured Wentz.

Make the decision, you have two choices.

Do you:
a) keep Foles, pay him the rest of the contract (5.5 million the 600 k for three years)
or
b) trade him to some QB needy team like Jacksonville (Bortles is not the answer) right after the playoffs end.

No way in hell Wentz gets traded, he is Eagles future and is still on rookie contract. He was #1 pick what, 3 years ago? And when healthy, he has basically lived up to the hype, it's not like he was awful this year coming off an ACL.
