    ridiculous. by 11am it is all over for the christmas lovers. kids retreat to their rooms to set up their new phones or tablets and want nothing to do with the adults until it is time for dinner. the women have no choice but to be in the kitchen preparing the dinner and the men of course are studying the NBA games and lines since they have 5 games to watch or bet or both. horse players of course are delighted that this glorious day falls on a tuesday which is a day with no major tracks running. having this overrated holiday fall on a weekend costs players their weekend action. it should be permanently on a tuesday (a day that goes nowhere)

    The real question is how do you 1- get to put TV on during meals (thou mute) and 2- fight off kids and crazy in laws for seat to view said TV that's on mute and 3- refrain from swearing or showing emotion


    That's the most difficult part of holidays...pulling that trick off 3 or 4 nights in a row and not being suspected of gambling.
