5 seems like a big number for Dallas even though they are home and added Cooper to the arsenal which probably will have minimal impact tonite being he is just blending into a new offense. Any insight or is this just one of those just watch a movie and forget about nights??? lol

I actually do like Dallas -5, I have Tennessee rated as third worst offense in the NFL ahead of only Buffalo and Arizona, I even have Cleveland rated higher. And defense is mediocre at best, no reason why Dallas shouldn't win by at least 7.

I agree I think 5 is very soft and you will see late movement toward 6 or 6.5 but for sure it will move past 5 by a bunch

Sure...worse than Eli Manning, Ryan Tannehill/Brock Osweiler, Ryan Fitzpatrick/Jameis Winston, Nate Peterman/Josh Allen, Derek Carr, Case Kennum, Joe Flacco, Andrew Luck, Nick Mullens, etc. Dak better than half the current NFL starters.

Staying away on this one. Zack Martin, their best OLman has been hurt most of the bye week with a sprained MCL, the rest of the OL has been struggling. They fired their OL coach during the bye week too. Their starting TE is out and right now the word is the rookie is probably going to get the start. The Cowboys defense has been good 2nd in points allowed, but the Titans defense has been pretty good too, 3rd in points allowed. Titans DT Casey is one of the better interior defenders and with a rookie LG, backup center and banged up RG, he could blow up the middle of the OL. Hard to trust the Cowboys, while Zeke should have a good night, it's also easy to see Jerry wanting them to force the ball to Cooper and play with their shiny new toy.

This game is matched even on paper....Looks like the total is correct to be so low as both Defenses have talent over the opp offenses. Tenn just has more D options now. They have also moved down from +6 earlier this week and now at +4.5. I like the Tenn Defense here. Mariota will run on this Cowboys D and the Boys can be exposed here. Hopefully on the Tenn O side Henry and Lewis should be able to find holes. (Remember though the Ravens did sack Mariota 11x a few weeks ago so his O line needs to be better.) Tenn has solid cornerbacks.

But you need the paper to calculate lines. How do you know there is value if you don't have your own lines to compare actual lines to? "Gut" handicapping doesn't win over the long term.
