SBR Poker Main Event 2018

New format for this event! The Top 20 players AUTOMATICALLY QUALIFY for the Finals.

Players finishing in 21st-50th place will compete to earn one of 7 spots in the Finals.



Players finishing in 51st-100th place will compete to earn one of 3 spots in the Finals.

The 30 SBR Poker tournament players who qualified will advance to the Poker Championship on Saturday December 8th at 5PM ET.



Qualifier Schedule
Three daily tournaments Mon-Fri beginning September 3rd through November 30th – 3PM, 8PM, 11PM ET.

On December 3rd we will have the First Qualifying game for those finishing in 21st-50th place. (7 advance to Finals).
On December 4th we will have the Second Qualifying game for those finishing in 51st-100th place, (3 advance to Finals).



50 players per tournament. 6-point entry fee for Non-Pros, SBR Pros Play Free.

3rd. 10,000 betpoints

10th. 1,700 betpoints
11th. 1,500 poker points
12th. 1,000 poker points

21st-30th. 250 poker poker points

The $2,000 in cash prizes will be paid in bitcoin. Monday December 10th, SBR will send payment to the winners through bitcoin. The exchange rate used will be the price SBR paid to acquire the Bitcoin that same morning. Winners have 30 days to collect prizes.

Terms and Conditions
1. Must be an SBR Pro by December 1st to receive poker championship password.
2. Participants are limited to one account per household. Players who operate multiple accounts or are otherwise restricted from the forum during the qualification period may lose their eligibility at the discretion of SBR.
3. In the event that there are ties for the 100th spot, tiebreaker will be # of Cashes. If still tied, the earlier SBR Forum join date.
4. Player may participate in one daily qualifier tournament per day. No shows will be ejected after 15 minutes.

It would be better if the prizes were given based off standings from the 10 weeks of play or whatever it is rather than have to qualify and luckbox ONE tournament. That would be rewarding good play on a hierarchy basis.

Where to see top 100 ranking of players?

Id rather have daily points put back to normal then a luck box. Top 20 is a lot of effort, you'll basically have to play everyday for peanuts, and as you said, despite skill, especially with the format, it's a luck box tourney.

Another pass. I miss the good ole'days.

Looks nice, thanks Drew! So only 30 people end up in the final event and all win prizes? That's pretty nice! Top 100 qualifying made it too much of a crapshoot imo to win anything reasonable, Top 30 is much preferred. Granted I may not even qualify for it, but I still think it's a better format!

Either way, appreciate the promo for sure, last year we had no promo after the World Cup, and this is definitely better than nothing!

This is like promising free medical care. It sounds good in principle but never actually happens. It's too fancy of a feature for the current reinteration of the software lol

this is not a new fancy feature, but an old basic feature. used to work fine a few years ago, till it was suspended.

What is the point of the auto boot after 15 minutes? I can't really think of many(if any) good reasons for it?
