I think Phoenix and Seattle are the 2 best teams in the WNBA, probably a 5 game series, should be interesting to see what the lines are

I swear some WNBA teams take on an extra chromosome when it's late in the game and they're down 2-5 pts. I've seen numerous times, where the trailing team brain farts their own play and ends up taking a horrible shot, then doesn't foul until 10 seconds later, then they repeat until they're down 12

Going into the playoffs the question I think is - who is hot and who is not going into those playoffs? Who ended the season strong? Playoffs are a new beast and in current time.. I think that applies to Hoop and Baseball mostly, perhaps all sports though.. It's like this - What have you done for me lately so to speak?

Had a few glasses of fine red wine tonight and buzz'n a bit now, trying to keep it real though.. Get's me to thinking.

I think the line should be 4 in normal circumstances but I see a 5.5 or 6 here with Phoenx having played 2 games in 5 days and traveling across the country.

I have Seattle at 6.5 because of the travel and tired legs Phoenix will likely have after 2 tough games - I think normally the line would be 4.5.

I have the Mystics line at Washington -2.5.

I like to bet teams in game 2 when I think 1 team is the significantly better team and game 1 was very close, I thought Washington was the much better team, they just got conservative too early. Washington's weakness is slow tempo games but Atlanta wants to run, Atlanta doesn't have the firepower to win an up tempo game against this team. I make Washington -2.5 on the power ratings scale and -3.5 account for tempo and matchup.

I think Seattle should 7, Taurasi can't carry this team forever at age 35, and the Mercury don't have playmakers when she's out. Seattle wasn't great offensively in game 1 off the long layoff and they let the Mercury comeback, I think we get a complete game in game 2.

seattle by dd they are the best team in the league phoenix is on their 4 game in 8 days in which they have covered all 3 previous games seattle knows what they did last game and prevent the letdown in the 4th and keep it rolling
