made the final table, got paid, didn't win or make the chop if there was one.... became short-stacked (the shortest stack) after the two previous ss's doubled up.....

blinds were huge, had to fold my bb when the two chip leaders raise/reraise in front of me.... on a dry flop one shoves and the other (2nd in chips) calls with ace high (holding ak) vs. the chipleader's kings on a 594 flop.... guy spikes an ace to stay alive.... nevertheless, next hand i'm dealt the dead man's hand and the now huge chipstack/leader, shoves from the bb..... I call and he rolls over his five six, which flops a six to bounce me.....

nevertheless, I tripled my buy in....

PO69 didn't play, I'll let him go into that situation if he wants to.....

wife had an abysmal slot run, down $2k, I was up a couple hundred in slots for the weekend as we left today.....

will run a couple of big hands by the poker subforum to see what you would have done, then what I did, and the actual results.....

thnks, kvb, the trny wound up with about 60-something players, about twenty more than PO69 had estimated, prompting pretty good payouts for the final table, and we carved out 400 for the bubble boy when he got bounced.....

wife swung for the fence on the slots, and L'auberge wasn 't down with that..... I fared much better on the penny machines, short stoppin' them for what they'd give up, then move on..... 3 outta 4 of the machines I played last night after the trny and today paid, but never very big....
