it is in my opinion that it's one of the best wagers to make in the NFL

not too long ago some books would offer +100 on this wager. Now a days it's about -120 to -130

and mostly used for spreads, rare totals

I don't use them for CFB ( Never tease in CFB )

Yes, teasers lost all value once books stopped offering +100. You could still find some good ones occasionally at 5 Dimes but that is about it.

How many times the spread comes into play is irrelevant.
Give us a stat on how many times a teaser in the 6-7 point area
comes into play.

NFL teasers were much more popular back in the day.
Always 7, never 6 was old school teasers.
I rarely ever use them anymore. Too much irregularity.
NFL will be even more different this season with the rule changes.

This is a good question Snowball.....but do not have the answer for. Certainly the probability of a team covering,increases with each additional point.Now add another team,that overall probability...decreases ?? Not sure. Mr Teaser,is right...they were once gold,back in the day,in college hoops ! In that era when conf. games were not played until the new year....many,many games were coming in very close to the line. We would bet both teams ,in the same game !.....until the books got hurt and changed it...........................oh the good old days!!!!!
