Be a competely different thing as they’ll have to gut the roster to make it work. I say LeBron recruit him to cleveland somehow

That was also confirmed today on the sports talk radio show locally. They just need to get rid of $20mil/year Ryan “Sit on the bench” Anderson.

Yeah not really how the salary cap works. Good luck getting someone to take Ryan Andersons money. Otherwise you're gutting the bench. Losing capella. Etc etc.

But sure, cp3 getting a raise, a team well over the salary cap, won't have to lose anyone to add a 40 mil a year guy lol

Can't they just pay the luxury tax and sign LeBron?

So someone is going to take Anderson contract for what? Not many teams have that empty space, the ones that do, why would they? No way Cavs agree to a sign n trade with Anderson.

Rockets couldn’t move Anderson to land melo, and that was coming off a fairly good season

No. Luxury tax can be entered to resign your own players. Even before resigning Paul they will be over the cap.

Houston could never ever beat Golden State even with James it’s not the right team and it’s a poor coach that James will play for

Paul Acts like he’s a superstar how funny, It’s a young man’s league

Chris Paul Rumors: Rockets Need Max Contract to Re-Sign PG in Free Agency

rockets are crazy if they give this guy a max contract he's 33 years old and on the decline says he won't take less money even if that means not being able to sign lebron james, what a team player

Here's what a full max contract for Chris Paul would look like:

    2018-19: $35.4 million
    2019-20: $38.2 million
    2020-21: $41.0 million
    2021-22: $43.8 million
    2022-23: $46.7 million

Sum total of $205 million over five seasons.

Chris Paul will be 37 years old in 2022

I wish lebran would've gone to the West a few years ago.

I would like to see what he's made of.

    Better late than never.
