It's still down for me.
Maybe the universe is trying to tell me something. I wanted to bet the Celtics tonight. Now it looks as though 5Dimes is down, AND Seaweed is on the Celtics.
It's like I'm being told to stay away.

Maybe, especially if he's worth 100 million like JJ Gold says.
I'd get the fuk out too...lol.
But not Tony, he's in it for the love of the game, the "I get to say fuk off if you ask for a supervisor game."

Guys do not post threads like this. JJ is already on full tilt about offshore.
No 5dimes and Tony in US means no paycheck for JJ

There will always be a Tony in the US for as long as he wants to be. Here in Australia we can bet locally and everywhere... there's a shop a 2 minute walk from my house. But if you have any sort of a clue as a bettor you realise in 15 seconds that you will get better lines almost anywhere else than close to home. Offshore will never go out of business because they don't have the overhead, taxes and licensing requirements as homegrown books do/will and therefore they can offer better prices and range of bets.

It's been discussed here and no offense.....but if the US government wants to control it they will. Once this thing gets rolling and the money to be made is realized, offshore for US players will not be an option.

The new USA bettor will have no clue if he’s laying -115 or -105

Every country with legalised gambling already tries to restrict it to within its own borders as it is. It never works. For those who want to gamble with good lines and/or on options that aren't offered at home, they'll always find a way out. They've tried everything under the sun to stop us from live betting overseas and yet nothing has changed. Where there's a will there's a way

Very true but there are a whole heap of 'old' US bettors and those new ones eventually become seasoned ones as well. They find a forum, they get a bit of a clue, learn how to fund overseas books and then they end up like us posting here how many years later?!

No ones debating the overhead or lower lines offshore. What’s debatable is the horrible customer service & waiting days for a payout that should take seconds.
Really shocked US posters aren’t rejoicing with all this. This is a great thing.

Payouts don't even take seconds in Europe or anywhere else gambling has been legal for years. How on Earth would that happen in the US?! If anything with the tax component involved I'd think there'll be even more red tape to go through. I'm just speculating on that though as we don't pay taxes on gambling or lotto winnings here so it's a non-issue.

The days of offshore books acting like they are doing YOU a favor taking your hard earned money are done.
Booya plan a east coast trip Memorial Day weekend. Mini bash at Monmouth Park!
Shari I’ve done numerous payouts via PokerStarsNJ & not once received a tax form.
It takes about 3 seconds to walk up to a window & collect. Or 15 minutes via poker stars into my bank acc
