I'll say this... the only BIG winners I've ever witnessed at table games were guys who went bat sh!t crazy and fired BIG bet after BIG bet until they made a BIG stack. Saw a 22 year old kid run $2k up to $135k in half a day on Blackjack table....gave it all back over the next 6 months.Sad.

captrobey is one of the few people on this forum who posts a ticket for every bet he makes, along with an explanation for the bet. He posts when he loses, and he posts when he wins. I believe every word he says. Hope you keep building on that bankroll cap, good luck!

No surprise at all. Got stars in his eyes. Probably thought "if I just go back and do it 6 more times, I'll be a millionaire and drive a Ferrari".

Too young to understand what an anomaly is.

Sadly, yes. He was a young Navy kid on leave. That casino gave him luxury suites, limo rides, steak dinners, etc. Then one sad afternoon, I wandered into my pit and saw him playing the $5 BJ table next to a guy in a wheel chair. The saddest table in the casino and he told me he only had $300 left to his name.

Wow kinda ironic because i was in the Navy too. Luckily he probably had everything else covered. A place to live free and meals all day on the base. There are always things i found that were a great bargain too . I remember a movie theater that got hold of Movies right before they left the theaters. A coupon book of 10 tickets $50 each ticket($5) gave you a movie ticket ,medium popcorn, and a medium drink. They also had an arcade with classic games $5 they stamped your hand and you could play all the games that were set up for free. It was like a warehouse full of games. So for $10 you can see a movie ,get a snack and a drink, then go and play around in the game room.
