Road team is Anaheim tonight. They lost the first two games of this series at home to the Sharks. I feel stongly about the Ducks winning tonight....as for the series I'm honestly not sure but throwing a unit at it....Sharks have a history of choking, although they have a different roster going this year win Evander Kane in (and Joe Thorton out). But look, if the Ducks do win tonight, then this +444 series price is best value right now....could look to hedge out of it later, if possible.

But I like Anaheim tonight.

1) Road team is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings.
2) Ducks are 0-4 in the last 4 meetings....why? one thing is all home games (see trend #1)

Ducks overall trends:
1) Ducks are 4-1 in their last 5 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game.
2) Ducks are 4-1 in their last 5 when their opponent allows 2 goals or less in their previous game.

2016: Round 1 lost first two games AT HOME vs Nashville, then Won the next 3 in a row, before losing the last two close ones (3-1 and 2-1 scores)

2017: Round 1 swept Calgary 4-0 games
Round 2 lost first two games AT HOME vs Edmonton, then Won the next 3 in a row, before splitting the last two including winning game 7
Round 3 split the first four games 2-2 vs Nashville, before losing game 5 and 6

I don't really care about the Series pick and I said that Series bet is unsure in the original post.

The way I look at the wager, is I expect Anaheim to win tonight. That portion will be +3.90 units. So then giving up 1 of those units for a +444 shot to win the series.

Take it further out, if Anaheim win games 3 and 4.....can probably hedge out of the series as well for guaranteed profit on that portion.

Yeah, quite a bit of "ifs" but this is my logic about it, since you asked.

I recommend the moneyline on Anaheim if you are seeking the strongest pick (if you couldn't already figure that out by reading the original post). I cannot possibly writeup all the factors I think about when doing these. Putting my neck on the line by posting any pick in the first place is something that probably less than 5% of members do here.

Anahiem showed up.... they had 45 shots on net... timely saves and Jones being stellar won this. That Anaheim defence is awful. Anaheim was ready to go they just didnt score.. probably should have been 8-5

They really miss Fowler, and Jones is solid and is playing better than the 2 Anah goalies. SJ looks like a motivated and better team with Kane since the trading deadline.
