Jim Kelly, who underwent weeks of chemotherapy and radiation before being declared cancer-free in September 2014, will again begin treatment for oral cancer.

After watching the 30 for 30, I believe it was called the four Falls of Buffalo, I did a complete 180 on Jim Kelly, he seems like a really nice guy.

I’m a stage 4 kidney cancer survivor, had my left kidney out 7 years ago. Then After 5 years being cancer free it (kidney cancer) metastasized to both my lungs, had right lung lower lobe removed and a couple pieces of my left lung upper lobe. I’ve been cancer free again for 15 months. I refused cancer drugs told them get with surgery or forget it. It can be beaten but you got to catch it early. Good luck to anyone fighting it, the best advice I can give is you got to beat the mental part before you can beat the cancer

If you try to eat right... and eat a sensible diet your entire life... and then get diagnosed with cancer... I'd say fuk it. You can't live in fear. I'd be saying f u cancer all day long... but I'm never going to have any regrets.
Both my uncles died at around 38 and 41 years of age. Both were heavy smokers. This is back when I was like 9 years old. Now, that I'm 40... I say to myself... you can't live in fear. You just try to live as humble and appreciative as possible.

prob a dumb question but why dont more people get full body screens every 6-12 months to catch it early? too expensive? not practical?

Yes I agree... a lot of things don't add up.
But my point is... if you try to be healthy.... and cancer strikes... you should have no regrets.
If you live a careless life... and cancer strikes... well then.... ????????

1. Medical bills add up. (Super expensive)
2. People don't want to know. Fear.
I didn't even know you could get a full body screen? Are you allowed to get an MRI for that? I'm sure the screening would cost a lot.

It's all good. I'm sure all the celebrities get the full body screening. Probably cost around 100k per scan. They can afford it.

Cancer is a motherfukker.
Strikes very close to me recently and I'm sure everyone has had a close loved
one afflicted.
As a nation we need to focus research and money hughly to crush this menace.

'They' need to get off their azzes & solve the mystery behind this disease.
I know some believe they already have a cure but withhold it in order to keep the herds (population) thinned out, but I don't think they've figured it out yet.
Maybe they're looking in all the wrong places & a cure is right under their noses.
