    OK, a question for the one's in the know or think they know. I have never owned any kind of weapon, hand gun, rifle etc. I see some on this thread call the AR-15 an assault rifle and then some say its not....

    So just the facts please. is it or is it not considered an assault rifle???

    guy has pussed out.... he hunts... he should know ar-15's arent the f'n problem.....

    at most, the 20-100 round magazines are, as high capacity is the only thing that makes those guns more deadly than any other rifle; without those high capacity magazines, they arent worth a shit and are far less lethal than any guns I own excluding my two .22 lr rifles....

    Ban all assault riffles only... Stop making them and stop selling them period.. That's a step in the right direction to reducing violent crimes and mass murder shooting.. The less guns the better...

    I love my guns too.. I just understand what will make a safer America.. Less guns will...

    if a ban on assault rifles (which is f'n ludicrous, as all f'n rifles are, in reality, "assault" rifles) is proposed, i will indeed by 2-3 ar-15's and one other two be named later before it becomes effective.....

    No one is taking away your guns Donkers, I just think we should stop making Assault riffles and selling them in stores.. They serve no legit purpose in society.. Can't even hunt with them or use them for home protection.. They are military grade guns and they should remain in the Military..

    many ranchers carry ar-15's and/or mini-14's for varmints, primarily coyotes....

    buddy of mine in high school carried one of each; I dusted dusted 9-10 coyotes with the two of them on the five/six weekends a year I hunted with him .... good for packs of coyotes as you don't run out of bullets in most instances......

    That makes sense, then maybe Ranchers should be giving a license to own and use them then... I'm ok with that.. If they serve a legit purpose for something then I'd down with it.. It's really in the populated cities where they should be banned completely..
