CHICAGO +5 at Brooklyn. This is basically the biggest line the Nets have laid all year. In early December they laid 5 to Atlanta and lost outright by 12. Later in December they laid 5.5 to Sacramento and lost outright again. The Nets have been favored only 11 times this season and have lost outright 6 times in those games. Now here they are, losers of 8 straight and 12 of 13, and they're laying a fistful?! Not on my watch.
DETROIT +10.5 at Toronto. It's pretty damn close to desperation time for the Pistons. I don't think it's likely they win this one but should put up enough of an effort to keep it close.
MEMPHIS +12 at Boston. The Griz are playing poorly and are also banged up, but it's been a long time since the Celts could be counted on to blow teams away. I think this is a reasonable cushion to side with Memphis.
