    Mine go to Canadian white schools, even less of a concern for checkpoints

    Most LA schools have fences and police. They actually have a LAUSD police force. They also do random checks and metal detectors. Yet there was a shooting, albeit accidental, at an LAUSD school the other day. There is literally nothing you can do except teach your kids what to do in an emergency.
