I know. It was dumb. To be fair, I blew a .081 (legal limit is .08) at my car, and then the official one I took when I got booked in was only .063 so I'm hoping it will get dismissed or reduced to something else. To be fair, I wasn't hammered, I had like 5 drinks in probably 4-5 hours and had food and some water before driving.

first offender if DUI will lose license for 6 months. Can get provisional for work....

But 0.081 and then 0..063 if he did not hit anything or was driving wrecklessly should be reduced from DUI to Wet Wreckless

I didn't have any priors and since i blew under the legal limit it will likely get reduced to negligent driving which I'd be fine with. I did one night in jail that was it and got released without having to get bailed out.

At the arraignment there were like 10 other people with DUI's and mine was better than all the others. Most everyone else had priors or blew over the limit. Obviously getting arrested isn't something to be happy about but compared to how bad it could have been I'll take the situation I'm in.

They aren't. My official BAC was .063 which is what I blew at the jail, not the .081 I blew at my car. One guy that I was in with said he blew like a .100 and then at the station blew like a .04 lol.

Gave me a tray with a bunch of food that tasted like stale nothing. Some food that was suppose to be macaroni but wasn't, some nasty cooked carrots, a salad I didn't even try, some bread with butter, and a cookie that was the only part I really ate.

Are you being serious? I couldn't imagine being there for more than a few days. When they lock your cell there is literally nothing to do but sleep. I was legit staring at a concrete wall for hours. I kept thinking about sports gambling. I was hoping to get out before 4pm PST just to play the games lol. Maybe if they knew I was booked longer I probably could have gotten a book or something, but I had nothing. Best way to pass the time was to talk to others or sleep, but I think I slept a total of like 3 hours at night.

I got arrested for DUI and took it to court. The case got thrown out as police pulled me over w/o probable cause. Fruit of poisonous tree and I won but lawyer cost was about $2k. I highly recommend getting a lawyer and fight it. But I don't know the your whole story so good luck.

what state are you in? and no, I've never been to jail or gotten DUI. I barely drive when sober, let alone drunk.

Personally I had one in 1998 and the 2nd one in 2016 so the 1998 was legally expunged and 2016 officially my 1st. I got what's called ARD in Pennsylvania, which means you get the criminal charge but if you pay their fines and jump through a lot of hoops they expunge it and you don't do time. The DA gave me 100 hours community service because of the expunged prior, which I did at a children's and women's center. I have to go to individual and group alcohol treatment meetings twice a week. I get piss tested, which includes alcohol. I will have to do a driving safety course which will be expensive.

All together about $3,000, no license for 18 months and having to do a lot of things I don't want to do. I also applied for a decent paying job which went all the way to the end, was assured I'd get it and at the end was told the CEO wouldn't sign off on me because of the DUI.

Looking forward to having it all behind me.

Not sure if they have ARD in your state, but I hope they do.
