Chicago Murders in 2017 is down from 2016. Total shooting victims so far this year 3,513 Total shooting victims in 2016 4,331.

If you don’t live in Chicago don’t comment about Chicago. It a media war on Chicago when there are many cities with worse violence per capita. Sure there are rough parts and it’s sad. Every city has their rough neighborhoods. But downtown all the way up to uptown is very safe. I have lived in the city almost 10 years now and have not felt unsafe at all.
