#46Gotta keep it real always.. Love the smell of those trees..
I use to lease vacant lots back in the day and sell hundreds of Christmas trees out them.. I would have them shipped and delivered to LA down from Oregon where they had Christmas tree farms.. Nobles and Douglas fir trees..
It was profitable back in the day but only because I got the lease for a month for cheap on busy streets in populated areas.. I'd find a vacant lot on a busy street that looked like they were ready to develop.. I'd write the owners a letter and say I'd like to sell trees out of your lot for one month in December and pay you.. I'd get the lot for like $700 or $800 for the month, used a gas generator to run electricity.. Profit maybe $4000 on average for the couple years I did that.. That was a good amount of money back then for me..
Did pumpkins on Halloween also on those same lots in October.. Profitable too..
Loved the smell of those Douglas Fir trees.. I'll never forget.. I hated when it rained though..Comment -

#48Real... they're going to go up in price this year. Farmers started planting less during the recession back in 07', 08'. We're going to feel the effects of the shortage for about 3 years or soComment -
