I am from Chicago and am a Bears fan. The Bears defense is trash with Treviathion out, and Detroit was in an obvious look ahead spot with Chicago this week and Minnesota last week. Detroit has a very strong run defense, Tribisky is playing well for a rookie, but Stafford is quietly having one of the best years of his career.

Lions are winning this game. I don't think it'll be a blowout by any means, but they'll cover.

And peter.. If those numbers are accurate why would they not indicate that the bears are a good pick here? If all the money is on the lions why would vegas not increase the spread to even it out?

"Square" sides win all the time. Pretty sure lions were one of most heavily bet teams last week as well and they covered. These 2 generally play close games but I like lions laying less than a fg, think they will find a way to pull it out.

This is a must win for Detroit. A loss here, and a Minnesota win at home against the Rams and the Lions are 3 down with 6 to go. A win here and a Viking loss to the Rams means that the NFC North is up for grabs between the two teams.

Oh no doubt, from all the squandered scoring chances down to fact they rushed for freaking 200 yards and still couldn't cover double digits! browns being browns in all their "glory", lol.

Pls dont talk about the browns/det game. That was a 2100 swing for me. I watched condensed highlights 3 times and still have no fakkin idea how they did not cover. And STILL cannot believe the qb sneak call from the 2 yard line with 15 secs and no timeouts..

Remember Stafford career wise on the road against teams who finish the year above .500 is 2-48 or some ridiculous sh#$
But... Green Bay may not make it above .500
and Chicago may not make it above .500
So Detroit might be the play again.

Took them live when the browns were up 10 and it was barely plus money.. they love winning meaningless games and are a lock to lose any game of substance.. I don't know a team that plays to the level of their competition more than the lions

Lions looked real tasty to me, but public heavy. Don't know.
Usually, I fade the public.
But this might be a gift, taking the Lions.
Won't wager till Saturday night. If Lions stay put at -3, I'll probably bet it.

Ouch, yea that rough lions had no business covering. Hate losing games like that.. far as the sneak before half that wasn't even the call, kizer changed play at line I believe.

Let's face it... I hate to call this game a MUST WIN SITUATION... but there's a couple ways to look at this....
Lions facing Chicago this weekend...
Lions facing Minnesota on Thanksgiving.
If the LIONS LOSE BOTH... season is practically over.
Martingale both? Take Detroit against Chicago.... if it loses.... Double up on Detroit over Minnesota.
Otherwise... no chance for the playoffs.

Those Stafford road numbers are old honestly. When the team was much worse and he himself was still maturing. Not relevant now
