go follow my thread with an aggressive unit size. I would start out doing $15/unit so you'll be doing a lot of $30 plays. Still conservative enough to keep you safe, but if i can turn you 50 units in the next 4 months i will have doubled your bankroll.

People just love action if they bet a 7 p.m game they really liked at it wins that's not good enough for the night then they will play a 9 or 10 pm game just for action when you really don't need to when the 1 game you really liked already won, or say you lose that game ok it didnt work out it was the game you really liked your not gonna win every game just end it for the night that's when your ROI starts going down hill chasing losses and not being satisfied with a win. Most people get more excitement & just like the action more then +- at the end of the year tbh.

Everyone knows how to manage a bankroll it's doing it that's hard. If you don't got the time don't force a bet if you can pass for say a week because a wager didn't meet your criteria you have some control. Treat it like a baby and watch it grow...and if you don't have that kinda patience throw that bitch in the middle and try and get it there. Promise you this though you turn 500 into 4-5 k pushing hard and you will always want to bet that way. Instant gratification it's like a drug, then comes degenerate mode and you will sleep like a baby after throwing that 3k down the toilet on some shitty PAC 12 game you were betting live trying to end the night with a even account balance, that 4981 just wasn't sitting well let's get that 19 and bump it to a even 5....you think I'm kidding, people share this story all the time even if they don't got the stones to admit it. A $500 bankroll you should be playing no more than 2% ($10) per play or if you want to play 2 bets ($5) per play

The key is to keep your emotions in check win or lose and play only when you feel you have an edge and not play just to have action which is the downfall of most sports bettors

Thank you for the feedback. With a $500 roll I will likely play 5% -10% until I double up. At 2% I feel the grind could discourage me from being picky of plays

$30 is a mere 6% of his bankroll. You won't get a large return with minimal investment. The guy was offering him exactly what he was looking for.

Once the season is through, withdraw your winnings. Do not, I repeat, do not start trying to build on those winnings by playing baseball. I did that and lost it all.
