Poorest countries we give aid to missed out on online&land based gambling craze
You would think some of the poorest latin american and Caribbean island countries like Mexico,Haiti and The Dominican Republic would have gotten in on the gambling craze.Hell,Castro could have gone online with gambling and most of the Canadians and europeans would have done business with him.I think Australia outlaws online gambling for residents and just allows foreigners to place bets. These poor countries could take Australia's lead where all the money comes in and nothing goes out. Then you have some really poor countries that go unmentioned all over the world that turn a blind eye to abusing women as 2nd class citizens and you can sell and rent kids but they take an approach to gambling that it's a sin.Maybe Bush should tell all the poor countries that we give foreign aid to that we will quit giving them aid but if they want to get our money they can set up online casinos-sportsbooks and poker rooms.hehe!

Brent, in many ways your statement is quite enlightened. Let's hope that at least some of these places use the aid to stabilize their governments for a little while and then take the initiative to become more self-sufficient. The truth of the matter is that there are several wealth redistributing avenues available to all and more than at any other point in time, individuals with wealth are willing to send money into economies without wealth.
