Houston astros are a lock for tomorrow
This aint no jinx bet thread.

    Going all in on it.

Dont have much left of a roll. Dropped 30k 2 weeks ago on PLO and NLH, which was most my roll so im slightly tilted.

I know how tilt and lock bets usually turn out. But this game is scripted by the numbers.

    Smash it boys

Lets hope you are right Charm. I have a series bet on Astros and would like them to close it out so I don't have to sweat it out in game 7.

If the Astros win game 6 you would still pick the dodgers to win the series....

              All in on JV
              1st time ever for me.

I got a paycheck from later this week, from work.
But , I put all my money on JV.
If they lose, I scrap up pocket change for Ramen Noodles till I get paid-and I'm late on the rent for another two weeks with late fees.

This game is interesting. You have Verlander who is rolling, can throw 130+ pitches, is a big game pitcher, and knows what's on the line tonight. You have Hill who hasn't thrown 80 pitches or gone past 5 innings in the playoffs. Both teams need to avoid the BP at all costs tonight. I think Dave Roberts has to let Hill go deep into a game.

My problem with Rich Hill needing to go deep tonight is the fact that he's only thrown 13 innings since the playoffs started. While you can say he's fresh and well rested, endurance has to be built. Too much rest can actually be counter productive. His muscle memory won't be there when he gets into those uncharted territories past the 6th, 7th inning.

Verlander on the other hand has thrown a CG this playoffs, and all though he's been a workhorse, he's actually kept his pitches down, only 1 game out of 5 in the 100's. He is the type of pitcher that was built for this moment. His arm is capable and ready for 130+ pitches on full 5 days rest.

My pick in this game is the team whose starter goes deeper. Smart money says that's Verlander. I'm going Houston. Just don't leave yourself with no outs. Keep some money on the backburner for live bets late if it's a tight game and both teams are in the pens. I trust the Dodgers slightly more in that scenario.

I've got money on the Dodgers in the series but I think Astros win tonight for sure. If Astros don't win tonight then momentum will most likely carry the Dodgers to victory.

All year roberts has babied his starters and worn out his bullpen. Now the bullpen is gassed and the starters cant go deep in games because they are so used to throwing 80 pitches and taking a shower.

roberts managing blunders with pitching staff in game 2 among the worst in world series history imo

astros lineup correa - altuve - springer just too much real star power

kershaw should be in jail for stealing money

The over is tempting but I'm not biting. Hitters were seeing everything in Hou. Different setting in the outdoor lights and cool air of LA. Plus we start seeing starters in mid relief roles instead of those dead arms out of the pen. Could see a 3-2 affair.
