Ya, when Joe started his slide the guy was a few yards away. Guarantee the guy gets a suspension for that.

Back in the day QB's would run head first.. I don't like this slide crap.. Flacko slid a bit late and took the head hit.. Personal foul is warranted but nothing more.. He should have slid earlier.. It was a bang bang play..

Flacco going for first down. Alonso trying to stop him as any linebacker would. What else can you do as a defender? When Flacco started his slide Alonso had already commited. Bull crap.

It is just the way things are now. Many of these hits that players get ejected or fined for wouldn't have enough been thought about years ago. Now, especially hits to the head, going to get you fined or suspended. If that was Tom Brady, Alonzo would probably on death row right now.
