These problems still remain for the Cubs: They only have scored on HRs (biggest problem), their bullpen is average at best and Wade Davis just pitched a lot, and they don't feel like they should win, either.

I say Kershaw gets it done. The LA bullpen probably has Morrow and definitely Jansen ready to shut it out. Quintana gives the Cubs a legit shot, but by the 5th they should have him figured, like Puig. If that's the case, I doubt the Cubs do it the way they are hitting.

This is funny. Kershaw on the hill, up 3 games to 1 ..... and the Dodgers are nervous? Okay.

I suppose the next 3 games are a formality and Cub fans are more interested in who they're gonna face in the series.

    Dodgers can hit.

    That's all that matters honestly.

It doesn't even matter about pitchers.

Already beat all you baseball fantastics in those debates when you took Mets to beat Royals with all those stud pitchers on the Mets. 4 aces.

Dodgers will easily win the world series.

    Smart white clutch players.

    It's a wrap.

    Don't even watch baseball.

    Just common sense.

Whoever has more consistent hitting lineup with no weaknesses at the 6, 7, 8 spots, clutcher hitters who can either get singles, doubles, or HRs (whatever is called for), high IQ

those are the team who win every year

    Cardinals?

    Giants?

    Royals?

The Dodgers can hit, but let's be frank, they've had pretty difficult time scoring this series beyond the Cubs game 3 choke job. In game 1, they don't get a run til the 5th, win 5-2. Game 2, 1 run in the 5th to tie, walk off 3 run bomb with 2 outs in the 9th to win 4-1. 6-1 game 3, Cubs throwing it all over the place. 2 runs last night.

Just to be honest, they aren't exactly making this series easy via offense. With the pitching they've had, they should have blown the Cubs out every game and they haven't. Think about how close it's been given the Cubs inability to hit. It's the only thing they can hang hope on.

If Kershaw can't get the job tonight... he will always be a PLAYOFF STAIN.

So how did Yankees beat Indians and get up 3-2 vs. Houston? Your rationale would be 0-1 and on unsteady legs in the ALCS.

I probably killed doyers by finally giving up and admitting they be in ws, 1st time all season and soon as I do cubs finally win 1. Lol.. let's stick w what works, no way cubs win they once again spent wade Davis, so now what they do late tonight? Obviously madden not confident in anyone else or he wouldn't keep asking his closer to go multiple innings.

The Dodgers could blow them out tonight.

Arrieta and Davis can't do it alone.

Yankees got the better hitters 1-9. They're winning with offense.

Houston can still win but it'll be a grind

Neither team is beating the dodgers

In every sport offense always wins, always. That's not to say defense doesn't win championships because it does, but at the end of the day if you don't produce offensively in the clutch you have no chance in any sport.

Game has changed. You need homerun hitters. Can't win with small ball anymore.

People love the defense wins championships cliche but almost always you need to be balanced to win championships.

If the Cubs can some how beat Kershaw and Dodgers tonight here in LA, I'd say they then have a chance in this series.. Right now they are still very much on the outs looking in.. Dodgers are sitting fat right now and should still win this series with the position they are in....

Looks like my post is spot on, as usual.

    You took Cubs tonight.

    I warned your ass.

YOu really don't know anything about sports no matter how much you watch because you're not an athlete like me. You're just an old brittle man with glasses who looks up stats all day

no way do the Cubs come back from being down 0-3

first off I have too many units on Dodgers to win the series

I see Cubs losing in a 11-1 type game tonight

Kershaw will go kinda deep into the game, maybe give up a fluke homer
