Astros (Keuchel) vs. Yankees (Tanaka) Sample Size...Thoughts...

I will post a few numbers...Not sure if the sample size is too small on Tanaka's end, or if the Astros just beat the chit out of him for a living...Last 3 years...

2017 - Keuchel 3.53 ERA on the road - 71.2 IP. - Keuchel 6 IP 0.00 ERA vs. the Yanks this season.
    - Tanaka 3.22 ERA at home - 95.0 IP. - Tanaka 1.2 IP 43.20 ERA vs. the Astros this season.

    2016 - Keuchel 5.42 ERA on the road - 88.0 IP. - Keuchel 14.2 IP 2.45 ERA vs. the Yanks in 2016.
    - Tanaka 3.86 ERA at home - 95.2 IP. - Tanaka 10.2 IP 5.06 ERA vs. the Astros in 2016.

    2015 - Keuchel 3.77 ERA on the road - 102.2 IP - Keuchel 16.0 IP 0.00 ERA vs. the Yanks in 2015.
    - Tanaka 3.71 ERA at home - 87.1 IP. - Tanaka 5.0 IP 10.80 ERA vs. the Astros in 2015.

I probably just wasted a bunch of time looking into this and typing it all out....but I am really tempted to play the Astros 1st 5 innings....Thoughts?

Where has Peacock been? He is a solid pitcher....Rather see him go than Morton. Been saying he has been one of the worst pitchers in baseball for the past God knows how many years...Pirates, Phillies...He was the ultimate fade machine, and apparently still is..

I'd be on the yanks today, but I already a 2x wager on the series, so I'm just rooting that...

    Maybe a total play later

Same deal w/ dodgers 2x series wager on them

-Looks like the wind w/ be a factor blowing out in Chicago

I think Astros win big. Yanks took advantage of two bum pitchers in Morton & McClluers.

hinch was torn between who to start in game 3, morton or peacock.... decdided to go with morton, and have peacock ready to take over if morton got blown out early.....

didn't get to see the game so I have no clue when morton gave it up like a cell bitch or who hinch went with in relief.....

expect another less than five hit performance today by the damn strohs.....

another epic meltdown after taking the 2-0 lead in the series and blowing a 4-0 lead with six outs to go to take a 3-0 lead....

put a fork in em, their done.....

Been riding the overs since they landed in ny. Gimmie the over again. Side too hard, don't trust keuchal and definitely don't trust Houston pen. i do trust Stros will get some early runs.

Thought manager made big mistake yanking McCullers yesterday just cause judge hit a solo shot to lead off inning! Don't get me wrong it was great for me cause I didn't expect McCullers to go past 6 innings when I made the over play!!

I think Houston responds today.. I can't see this team losing 3 in a row.. Remember they were leading the game yesterday late until the bullpen blew it..

I like Houston and Keuchels chances today...

You did say that.. I'm not playing the O/U's myself.. Can't get a feel on those... Get after it 2dabank and hit those overs!!!

I'm cautiously going with Houston to win today and get back in control of this series. They are sending one of their aces on to mound.. I can't believe this Stros team is gonna fold and lay down in today's game and lose 3 in row.. Stros are to good. They gotta be pissed off that they gave that game away last night in the 8th inning as well... I expect the Stros to come out determined, swinging and hitting well today.. Keuchel should hold up....

    $108.00 $100.00 Pending 10/18/17 5:00pm MLB Baseball 969 Houston Astros -108* vs New York Yankees (D Keuchel - L must Start M Tanaka - R must Start)

In the second game I'm going with the Dodgers, they are dominating this series and the Cubs can't drive in runs. Payback from last year... Cubs offense is absent.. Besides that the Dodgers haven't lost a game in these playoffs yet and that's one stat and trend that you would be foolish to ignore.. I'm playing the Dodgers to sweep..

    $200.00 $206.00 Pending 10/18/17 9:00pm MLB Baseball 967 Los Angeles Dodgers +103* vs Chicago Cubs (A Wood - L must Start J Arrieta - R must Start)

Yankees have had their day in the sun in front of their home fans. The Big 2 are pitching the next couple of games, and are going to seal the deal. Astros close it out in front of their home fans.

Kiss of death right here. McCullers was awesome by the way. If manager wouldn't have yanked him prematurely over a solo homer Stros would have probably won that game.

Just adding this comment to my above post...

Yanks have been the cardiac kids at home, they just seem to find ways to win at home in these playoffs.. That's why I said I am cautiously taking the Stros in this game.. Yankess are tough at home period.. Still think the Stros pull this one out though...

Why in gods name would he confidently (for good reason) send McCullers out with still a low pitch count then yank him cause he gives up a solo bomb to judge for Christ sakes?!??! Of all the managerial moves that been criticized these playoffs I haven't even heard much about this and I thought by far one of worst decisions anyone has made!

Pitch count will be huge tonight because the bullpen has no shot to get the Yankees out in this building.
