    MLB playoffs are 100 % luck. Not managers fault if they lose 1 or 2 games in postseason.
    Best teams lose 40% of their games in the regular season.

    Riiiiight. Dusty was asking you get beat using Scherzer. He wanted to give him extra rest for his hammy earlier in the series, then pitches him twice in 4 days? Not to mention they woulda been boned with they're pitching next series if they used him and won last night. Woulda meant Straus games 3 and 7 (because they've proven they won't throw him on short rest) and Scherzer only game 4. I get you have to win this game for that no matter, but getting to the NLCS isn't the ultimate goal - and you need your big guns against the Dodgers, especially on the road.
