Riiiiight. Dusty was asking you get beat using Scherzer. He wanted to give him extra rest for his hammy earlier in the series, then pitches him twice in 4 days? Not to mention they woulda been boned with they're pitching next series if they used him and won last night. Woulda meant Straus games 3 and 7 (because they've proven they won't throw him on short rest) and Scherzer only game 4. I get you have to win this game for that no matter, but getting to the NLCS isn't the ultimate goal - and you need your big guns against the Dodgers, especially on the road.
