    NBA even more fixed
As if the NBA is not fixed enough. Starting in 2019 the last three teams will tank for 14% chance to get a higher draft pick.

What this has done gotten more teams chasing to get to the bottom. If you are a subpar team that will not make the playoffs after thae all star game your objective has changed from improving your game to racing to get to be three of the last place teams. . It use to be maybe you had two teams competing for last place now its more than that.

What did they change exactly? Haven't heard. The worst team gets a 14% increase in the chance of number 1?

they should give the best chance to the teams that finish right behind play off spots. teams giving up tanking don't deserve anything.

BINGO!!!! Give the 9th seed more shots at the lottery than the clowns at the bottom running out bench scrubs.

The rules currently are the last place team gets 25% chance of getting the number 1 draft pick. NBA changing the rules where the last three teams get 14% at getting the number 1 draft pick.

Oh damn. Yeah, the tanking will increase for sure to get in that 3. The lottery is a joke.

They can not kill tanking unless they completely shred the lottery from it's current form. Easy bets though in the last few weeks of the regular season. I remember betting against the T-Wolves the last year of Garnett when it was apparent they were tanking. Easy money.

Just give everybody the same chance to get the first pick every year. Make these GM's earn their money by getting quality free agents added to the team, and then if they are fortunate to get the first pick, so be it.
