Identifying players on form that most gamblers would overlook is a good thing. Posting head-to-head value in a -110 (net 104.76% book) market is a good thing. Trying to pick winners on a golf tournament against a 200% book is a really bad thing, unless you have some inside information. If you had that inside information you'd be better off betting against the players who were playing to lose.
