If they go on probation, this should be a former Card player.

I doubt anything will happen to Nike. Unless their representative can prove that they were forced by Nike to commit fraud.

Louisville is going to get hammered. Maybe the Death Penalty. Best case scenario, they will not be playing in any College Basketball post season play for a long time. Petino is nothing more than a lying cheat. Everyone knows this. Petrino is also a major loser who was probably the brains behind the "Escort" scandal. The worst is this. The AD, KNEW about all of this and condoned it. Louisville is nothing more than a 2nd tier school trying to keep up with the big boys. The only way they can do this is to cheat. Their Football team is second rate. This school deserves the DEATH Penalty. The only person who would want the basketball HC at Louisville is someone looking for a paycheck.

Ohhhh, now I understand. I agree. I'm sure this is far reaching throughout the NCAA basketball landscape.

Not only that, but look how stupid it is. Half of these kids are striving for a "one and done" situation at college. They want into the pros as soon as they can get there. Again, I must raise the race issue. Every one of these coaches who are now staring 80 years in the face are Black. There simply is no excuse for that. Obviously the sport has a very large majority of black athletes participating in it. Once again, the stupidity of some Blacks shines through. This may be the beginning of the end of NCAA Basketball as we know it.

See I think there's value in Field cuz I could see louisville hiring an interim coach for this season since it's so late already and then look for the permanent replacement for next year. They could go to a Crean/Matta/etc. type of unemployed coach or a current assistant for a year then reevaluate. Some of those good coaches on that list above wouldn't want to leave their current teams high n dry for this season.

I think he'd be good for your program for a year. He could stable the sinking ship, just get him out after a year before he can do real damage.

Buzz is the best in-game coach of the bunch IMO. Wouldn't be bad.

Isn't Louisville currently on probation? Pretty sure they were placed on probation in June, 2017. And now a mere almost 3 months later, this breaks? And the NCAA was not aware of the federal investigation until right before the story broke. This is not gonna have a happy ending. Unless you are a Kentucky fan. They are having a really good day.

Some sources are saying Petrino is trying to get out of there now as well.
